Frequently Asked Questions
Can these batteries be delivered by sea and air?
Yes, the batteries can be delivered by both sea and air. They come with MSDS and test reports for safe transport as non-dangerous products.
Is fast charging recommended for GEL batteries?
Fast charging is not recommended as it can be harmful to the battery's internal structure and reduce its overall life span.
Can I replace only some of the batteries in a bank?
Partial battery replacement in lead-acid or GEL battery banks is not recommended. It is best to replace the entire set to ensure balanced performance.
What is the shelf life and how should they be maintained?
VRLA batteries self-discharge less than 3% per month at 25°C. They should not be stored for more than 6 months without recharging. In hot climates, recharge every 3 months.
Why does the battery have different capacities at different hour rates?
Capacity is dynamic and depends on the discharge current. A lower discharge current (e.g., 20-hr rate) allows the battery to deliver more total Ah than a high discharge current (e.g., 2-hr rate).
How is the quality of these batteries controlled during production?
Production follows ISO 9001 standards, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC) for raw materials, In-process Quality Control (PQC) during assembly, and Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) to ensure zero defects.
